MARYNA HRUSHETSKA
Cosmopolite Consulting was founded in 2011 by Maryna Hrushetska a global citizen, savvy businesswoman, and arts leader. A catalyst for innovation and big thinking, she inspires confidence while building strong teams
that deliver measurable outcomes. With leadership experience in both profit
and non-profit sectors, Maryna combines the best of each to increase the social impact of art organizations.
As the former Executive Director of the Craft and Folk Art Museum (CAFAM) in Los Angeles, Maryna organized and curated exhibitions on themes as diverse as ancient harvest rituals, Haitian dieties, youth culture in Iran, Mexican "border baroque" glass sculptures, protest art and much more. Introducing a bold curatorial vision and a commitment to dynamic public programs, attendance grew 60% in the first two years of her leadership. Appointed by the Board during a time of crisis, Maryna led a major revitalization of the 40-year-old institution.
Maryna’s leadership were recognized by
the Los Angeles Arts Commission, which awarded her an Arts Leadership

the Strategic Leadership for Non-Profits Program at Harvard Business
School.
